Terms of Service

LHH Performance oy, a Finnish limited liability company registered under business ID 3593870-1, provides specialized automotive performance enhancement and audio installation services. Our services are exclusively for vehicles legally owned and operated by our customers. We specialize in high-end automotive modifications with particular expertise in European vehicle platforms.

Core Services Include:

• ECU (Engine Control Unit) software calibration and remapping for enhanced performance
• TCU (Transmission Control Unit) optimization for improved shift dynamics and efficiency
• Custom engine tuning for specific fuel grades, driving conditions, and performance goals
• Advanced diagnostic scanning and analysis using professional-grade equipment
• Car audio system design, component selection, and professional installation
• Acoustic treatment and sound deadening for superior audio performance
• OEM integration services for maintaining factory vehicle functions
• Performance data logging and analysis before and after modifications
• Vehicle health assessment and maintenance recommendations
• Technical consultation and performance optimization advice

Service Limitations:

We reserve the right to refuse service on any vehicle for any reason. Services are performed at our facility in Inkoo, Finland only. We do not provide mobile services, towing, or roadside assistance. All work requires appointment booking and may be subject to vehicle inspection approval.

Vehicles must be legally imported, registered, and compliant with Finnish road traffic regulations. We do not work on stolen, salvaged, or illegally modified vehicles.

All services are provided "as is" with no warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees regarding vehicle performance, reliability, fuel economy, or any other operational characteristics.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LHH PERFORMANCE OY, ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND REPRESENTATIVES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY AND ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, INJURIES, CLAIMS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Direct Damages:

• Complete or partial vehicle destruction, fire, or explosion
• Engine seizure, piston damage, or catastrophic mechanical failure
• Transmission failure, gearbox damage, or drivetrain malfunction
• Electrical system damage, ECU destruction, or electronic component failure
• Fuel system contamination, injector damage, or fuel pump failure
• Turbocharger, intercooler, or exhaust system damage
• Brake system compromise or suspension component failure
• Audio system damage or component failure during installation
• Vehicle immobilization or inability to operate the vehicle

Indirect and Consequential Damages:

• Loss of vehicle use, rental car costs, or alternative transportation expenses
• Towing, roadside assistance, or vehicle recovery costs
• Lost wages, business interruption, or economic losses
• Diminished vehicle value or resale value reduction
• Insurance premium increases or coverage denial
• Legal fees, court costs, or arbitration expenses
• Emotional distress, mental anguish, or inconvenience
• Reputational damage or loss of business opportunities
• Any other foreseeable or unforeseeable consequential damages

Personal Injury and Death:

We shall not be liable for any personal injury, death, disability, disfigurement, or medical expenses arising from or related to our services, including but not limited to:

• Accidents occurring during vehicle operation after modifications
• Health issues arising from exposure to vehicle fluids or materials
• Injuries sustained while at our facility or during service delivery
• Any medical complications or long-term health consequences
• Wrongful death claims or survivor benefits

Maximum Liability Cap:

In the extremely unlikely event that we are found liable for any reason, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered, and shall in no case exceed €500 (five hundred euros) total, regardless of the nature or extent of the claim.

BY ENGAGING OUR SERVICES, YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT AUTOMOTIVE MODIFICATIONS CARRY SIGNIFICANT INHERENT RISKS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO VEHICLE DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, AND DEATH. YOU VOLUNTARILY AND KNOWINGLY ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH OUR SERVICES AND HEREBY WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE LHH PERFORMANCE OY FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO OUR SERVICES.

BEFORE ENGAGING OUR SERVICES, YOU MUST READ, UNDERSTAND, AND EXPRESSLY AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING COMPREHENSIVE RISK ASSUMPTION:

Risk Acknowledgment:

You hereby acknowledge that automotive performance modifications, ECU tuning, and audio installations carry significant and inherent risks that may result in:

• Complete vehicle failure or destruction requiring total replacement
• Engine damage requiring complete rebuild or replacement
• Electrical system failure affecting all vehicle systems
• Fire or explosion due to fuel system modifications
• Brake system compromise leading to accident or injury
• Transmission failure causing dangerous driving conditions
• Audio system failures causing permanent hearing damage
• Environmental damage from failed emissions systems
• Legal consequences from non-compliant modifications

Your Personal Declaration:

By signing, submitting payment, or otherwise engaging our services, you personally declare and certify that:

• You are the legal owner or authorized representative of the vehicle
• You have full authority to authorize modifications to the vehicle
• You understand that modifications may void manufacturer warranties
• You accept that modifications may affect insurance coverage
• You will be solely responsible for all legal and regulatory compliance
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the modifications
• You will not hold LHH Performance responsible for any adverse outcomes
• You agree to indemnify and defend LHH Performance against all claims
• You waive all rights to sue or seek damages from LHH Performance
• You understand that this agreement is binding and irrevocable

Third-Party Risks:

You acknowledge that modifications may affect:

• Vehicle warranty status with manufacturer or dealer
• Insurance policy terms, conditions, and coverage limits
• Legal compliance with Finnish and EU regulations
• Vehicle resale value and marketability
• Future service availability from authorized dealers
• Compatibility with future vehicle updates or recalls

Emergency Preparedness:

You agree to:

• Maintain valid towing and roadside assistance coverage
• Have access to alternative transportation during service
• Accept financial responsibility for emergency repairs
• Not rely on LHH Performance for emergency vehicle recovery
• Understand that we provide no warranty on emergency repairs

ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties of performance, reliability, or durability
• Warranties against defects or workmanship issues
• Any other warranties of any kind whatsoever

We do not guarantee that our services will achieve any specific results or that your vehicle will perform as expected.

Comprehensive payment terms and financial responsibilities:

Accepted Payment Methods:

We accept bank transfers, credit cards (additional 2% fee), and cash payments. All payments must clear before service begins.

Pricing Structure:

• All prices are quoted in Euros (€) excluding VAT (24%)
• Pricing is valid for 30 days from quote date
• Additional work discovered during service incurs extra charges
• Rush service fees apply for work needed within 24 hours
• Emergency service fees apply for weekend/holiday work

Deposit and Payment Schedule:

• 50% deposit required to book appointment
• Remaining 50% due upon service completion
• Full payment required before vehicle release
• Outstanding balances accrue 2% monthly interest
• Legal action may be taken for unpaid balances

Refund Policy:

NO REFUNDS will be provided under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Customer-requested cancellation or changes
• Service delays or scheduling conflicts
• Technical difficulties or unforeseen complications
• Customer dissatisfaction with results
• Vehicle damage occurring after service completion
• Insurance claims or warranty disputes
• Any other reason whatsoever

All intellectual property rights related to our services, software, and modifications remain the property of LHH Performance. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or reverse engineer our software or methods
• Share tuning files or data with third parties
• Use our intellectual property for commercial purposes
• Claim ownership of any modifications we make

ECU modification carries inherent risks:

• ECU chips may be damaged during removal or modification
• Software errors may cause engine damage or drivability issues
• Vehicle warranty may be voided by modifications
• Insurance claims may be denied due to modifications
• Legal compliance with emissions and safety standards is your responsibility

You accept all risks and acknowledge that LHH Performance bears no responsibility for any ECU-related damage or issues.

Any disputes shall be resolved as follows:

• Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of service completion
• LHH Performance's decision on any matter is final and binding
• You waive any right to legal action or court proceedings
• Any legal action against LHH Performance will be vigorously defended
• You agree to pay LHH Performance's legal costs if you initiate any dispute

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any legal proceedings must be brought in Finnish courts. You waive any objections to jurisdiction or venue.

We may modify these terms at any time without notice. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. You are responsible for reviewing these terms regularly.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. Invalid provisions will be modified to make them enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law.
